These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of blueberry, a digital SAT and PSAT preparation website and application (the "Service"), operated by blueberry ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What blueberry is

blueberry is an independent study tool for educational use. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board, which owns the SAT and PSAT trademarks and the digital testing platform ("Bluebook") that blueberry's interface is designed to resemble for practice purposes. blueberry does not administer the actual SAT or PSAT and cannot guarantee any specific score outcome.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information (like your name and email) when you sign up.
• You can delete your account at any time from Account > Security; this permanently removes your account and the data tied to it, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Free plan and Pro subscription

• blueberry offers a free plan and a paid "Pro" plan, currently $5/month, billed through Stripe.
• Pro removes daily limits on AI-generated explanations and AI Tutor messages, and unlocks the Sonnet-model tutor option.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the Account page's billing section (a Stripe-hosted billing portal), which also lets you view invoices and update payment details.
• We may change pricing or plan features going forward; we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active subscribers of material changes before they take effect.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others in a way that circumvents plan limits or per-account rate limits.
• Attempt to extract, scrape, or redistribute the question bank, practice tests, or AI-generated explanations in bulk.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable testing-integrity policy of the College Board or any school.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

6. AI-generated content

Explanations and AI Tutor responses are generated by a third-party AI model (Anthropic's Claude). They're meant to help you understand a question, not as a guaranteed-correct authority — AI-generated explanations can occasionally be wrong or incomplete. If you spot one that's actually wrong, please use the "Report a problem" option so we can review it.

7. Content and intellectual property

The blueberry name, branding, and the site's own code and design are ours. Practice questions are drawn from published, publicly available SAT/PSAT preparation material; we don't claim ownership over official College Board test content. You keep ownership of anything you personally submit (like a question report's description), but grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Service.

8. No guarantee of results

blueberry is a study aid. We do not guarantee any particular score, score improvement, or admissions outcome from using the Service. Estimated pace, projected score ranges, and similar figures shown in the product are planning estimates based on your own inputs and activity, not predictions validated against real SAT scoring.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, including abusive use of rate-limited AI features or attempts to circumvent them.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, blueberry is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any impact on your actual test performance or score.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active accounts (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before the change takes effect.
