blueberry doesn't use advertising cookies, and it doesn't run any ad-tech scripts. For analytics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, and Google Analytics, which sets the two cookies described below. Here's exactly what's stored on your device and why.

Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies on blueberrysat.com and app.blueberrysat.com: _ga (a random identifier, kept up to 2 years) and _ga_* (the current visit, kept up to 2 years). They let us count visits and see which pages and screens are used, so we know what to improve. They don't hold your name, email, answers or practice history, and we've turned off Google signals and ad personalization, so they aren't used for advertising. To opt out, block cookies for blueberry in your browser or install Google's opt-out add-on.
When you're logged in, our authentication provider (Supabase) uses its own session mechanism to keep you signed in between visits. This is strictly functional — it's what lets you stay logged in — not used for tracking or advertising.
When you're logged in, blueberry also sets one small cookie, bb_signed_in, on blueberrysat.com and app.blueberrysat.com (kept up to a year, removed when you log out). It holds only the value 1, never your name, email or any token, and its only job is to let blueberrysat.com send you straight to the app instead of showing the sign-up page.
The microphone button in the Tutor boxes is optional. It asks your browser for permission the first time, and your browser (not blueberry) turns your voice into text using its own speech service. Nothing is stored in a cookie, and blueberry never receives the audio. You can switch the permission off any time in your browser's site settings.
Some parts of the page load resources directly from third-party services: Google Fonts (typefaces), jsDelivr (a CDN serving library code), and Desmos (the embedded calculator). Loading anything from these providers means your browser makes a direct request to their servers, which — like any web request — includes your IP address. None of these are used by blueberry for tracking (analytics is covered above); see our Privacy Policy for the full list of providers.
You can clear local storage and cookies for blueberry at any time through your browser's settings — this will log you out and, in Guest mode, erase your saved practice history (since it only ever lived in that storage).
