blueberry doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It doesn't run any analytics or ad-tech scripts. Here's exactly what it stores on your device and why.
| Stored value | Purpose | If you're logged in |
|---|---|---|
| Theme (light/dark) | Remembers your display preference | Stays local to this browser |
| Sidebar collapsed/expanded state | Remembers your layout preference | Stays local to this browser |
| Practice tests, history, saved questions (Guest mode) | Lets the app work fully with no account | Migrated to your account on signup, then cleared from Guest storage |
| Goal score / predicted score (Guest mode, before signup) | Same as above | Migrated to your account on signup |
| Guest banner dismissed flag | Stops re-showing a banner you already closed | Stays local to this browser |
When you're logged in, our authentication provider (Supabase) uses its own session mechanism to keep you signed in between visits. This is strictly functional — it's what lets you stay logged in — not used for tracking or advertising.
Some parts of the page load resources directly from third-party services: Google Fonts (typefaces), jsDelivr (a CDN serving library code), and Desmos (the embedded calculator). Loading anything from these providers means your browser makes a direct request to their servers, which — like any web request — includes your IP address. None of these are used by blueberry for tracking; see our Privacy Policy for the full list of providers.
You can clear local storage and cookies for blueberry at any time through your browser's settings — this will log you out and, in Guest mode, erase your saved practice history (since it only ever lived in that storage).
